Tax Filing and Education
The Financial Wellness Center is excited to offer free on-site tax filing services to University of Utah students through the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program. This service is provided in collaboration with Beta Alpha Psi (BAP), an honors organization for students in financial information fields. All tax returns are prepared by IRS-certified VITA volunteers.

Volunteer for VITA
Every year we are looking for people who would like to volunteer to file taxes for our University of Utah students and also in the community. This is open to students, staff and community members. This is a great opportunity to give back. You will receive training on how to file taxes, become IRS VITA certified, there are many opportunities to help, this is a great way to build your resume.
